On my first post I wrote about an art project in New York subway stations. This was mainly because my first banner was a painting which I did for a friend and which was inspired by the tile creation of Andrea Deszö.
After a few days and probably a million tries in handwriting my blog name with watercolor I finally settled in another which would look effortless enough but not too much like a child’s attempt. Then I added some color at the top and bottom, too.
Still, I felt the need of a real logo. I knew right away that it would have to be a rose as saffron or rosewater felt kind of odd-looking to depict as a logo.
Roses are my favorite flowers and I love to look at them, no matter in real life, paintings or pictures. I just picked something in my memory and did not even have to try more than once, nailed it at the first time, folks.
Then you only have to stop by your brother who happens to have a scanner and everything is practically done.
So finally you see something up there which is more connected with this blog.
